Karma Footprint: Feminist.Period - for Bloody Good Period
KARMA FOOTPRINT : £260 & 2 VERVE tote bags full of sanitary products for Bloody Good Period
WHO : Team VERVE London & Bloody Good Period
WHAT : Feminist.Period Halloween Party at VERVE HQ
WHEN : 27 October 2017
WHY : Bloody Good Period works to end period poverty, something VERVE is all about. VERVE is also all about turning our words into action, and so, after our amazing joint event with Bloody Good Period back in August (Bloody Prosecco in the Park), we wanted to do more - and have a bloody good time with some kickass feminists, of course. So we decided to celebrate Halloween together, Karma Footprint style.
Over 30 badass women turned up dressed as their favourite feminists to bob for tampons and pin the pad on the vagina (although we were having so much fun we ended up drinking more than 20 bottles of prosecco instead…). We were even gifted some incredible VERVE x BGP halloween cookies - shoutout to the suffragettes! Under a grenadine-soaked bloody tampon chandelier we boogied to our spooky feminist tunes, chatted to our badass Vervelles, and raised money for a bloody good cause.
Thank you x 1000 to everybody who came, danced, drank and donated!
What Is Karma Footprint?
Your Karma Footprint is the amount of good you release into the atmosphere as a result of your actions as individuals, organizations, communities and collectives.
VERVE events are centered around women coming together in cities all over the world in order to harness our power, wield it wisely, and make a difference in a very real way.
"What you do matters."
