KARMA FOOTPRINT : £1,000 for BLOODY GOOD PERIOD

WHO : Team VERVE London & Bloody Good Period

WHAT : A Galentine’s Day Brunch

WHEN : 17 February 2019

WHY : Raising funds for the bloody brilliant BGP

RECAP :  At noon on Sunday Feb. 17th forty-eight women with verve showed up at Benk+Bo for VERVE’s 3rd annual My Bloody Galentine Brunch to celebrate female friendship and menstrual dignity. We heard from the fabulous and inspiring Gabby Edlin of BLOODY GOOD PERIOD and VERVE Chief Feminist Operative Anna Quick-Palmer. The food was almost as ridiculously good as the conversation. The energy, enthusiasm and commitment to educating ourselves about the realities of period poverty was (we hope) contagious. Respect for all attendees who walked  (and ate/donated/drank/chatted/laughed/sistered up/volunteered) your talk. #Sheros

A HUGE thank you to all of our bloody beautiful attendees! Galentine gratitude to Freda for the fabulous period swag & raffle gift! MBG Shout Out to Ohlala for the tasty tampon macaroons! Perfect praise for Pretty Gorgeous’ delicious vulva cupcakes! Special thanks to Sue Dray for her stunning MBG illustrations and raffle print! Loads of love for Helena and Za for volunteering their time AND Benk + Bo for the spectacular space!
